A comparison of makeup between me, and everyone else at my school…
ugh I’d rather b friends with girls that wear “too much makeup” than someone that calls other girls “sluts” and thinks higher of herself because she doesn’t put as much stuff on her face
so not in the mood 4 people like you
literally tagged as #sluts. welcome to the #slutlife homie
MAYBE YOU SHOULD SPEND MORE TIME ENCOURAGING WOMEN AND GIRLS TO BE OK WITH WHO THEY ARE AND HOW THEY LOOK REGARDLESS OF WHAT’S ON THEIR FACE AND IF YOU’RE GOING TO INSULT PEOPLE MAKE IT ABOUT THEIR CHARACTER NOT HOW THEY LOOK BECAUSE GUESS WHAT THAT MAKES YOU A SHITTY PERSON.
i am also basing it on their personality wtf
WHAT PART. what part of their PERSONALITIES is being criticized in this post? THE PART WHERE THEY DARE TO WEAR MAKEUP? oh wow what sluts jeez that gives me the right to call them sluts lol I AM SPECIAL AND I AM BETTER THAN THOSE SLUTS AT MY SCHOOL WHO WEAR MAKEUP.
when actually, “sluts” do not exist. when actually, these girls you are shaming have every right to wear all the makeup they want and not be criticized for it.
and if you respond to this with, “well you don’t know them and i do, and since i know their personalities i know how they play into the post” or some such shit, get ready for such a huge can of tumblr whoop-ass
omg calm down, you dont know me, you dont know them, you are just typing shit to some person over some website, get a life - thats what im gonna do, bye im just gonna go revise for gcses :)
i don’t need to know you. i don’t need to know them. i know that this is some fucked up sexist shit right here (and yes, women can be sexist). I have a great life. don’t expect to put slut-shaming into the world and not get a ton of shit back for it, whether that’s on the internet or in a face-to-face conversation.
Oh OK, I get it - when YOU type shit on the internet it’s OK, but when OTHER people type shit on the internet it’s weird and annoying. Like you should just be able to do whatever the fuck you want and everyone else should just nod and smile, yeah?
… i was bored and put some makeup on, then did half my face really extremely and made a joke and suddenly im being treated as if i were the person who bullied amanda todd (rip) wtf
It’s the idea you’re throwing out there. This picture implies that “sluts” who wear too much make up are lesser than “girls like you” and deserve less respect. Whether it was your intention or not, this is like what happened to girls like Amanda Todd. People thought it was okay to disrespect her because she was a “slut”, a subordinate human. I don’t think you meant to be so crude in your post, and I understand that you think its a joke, but jokes like these just enforce double standards and really demeaning messages about women onto society that can be really dangerous.
My comment replies on Jenna Marbles’ “Things I Don’t Understand About Girls Part 2: Slut Edition”
(By the way, I know responding to YouTube comments is not very productive and conclusively self detrimental, but I can’t stand to see ignorance of this magnitude go by undisputed.)
“You deserve better why have someone who just wants your body?”
Did you consider that the feeling might be mutual?
Society has some weird ass message thrown in its face that every woman is looking for her prince charming from the moment we turn 6, and that if we fuck, suck or touch the penis of a man who isn’t him we’re “settling ourselves”, or we lack respect, or we’re stupid, naive girls who don’t understand that a big bad man is taking advantage of us.
Well I say, fuck OFF. I have a libido, I get horny too. I have a brain, I can think for myself. I don’t need anyone’s condescending advice that I should keep my legs closed until I find the “right man”. I’ll do it if I want to, I won’t if I don’t want to, simple as that. It is no one’s business but my own, and it is not your place to opine.
I hate when guys say, “oh I dislike girls that get so insulted by the word bitch, I call guys that too.” Yeah and you use it to signify that he is not as manly (and therefore not as good) as he should be. It’s still a patriarchal term and as a man living in a society that values your sex more, you do not get to tell any woman what derogatory word she is and is not allowed to be offended by.
today i finished my quiz first and my teacher was all like ‘oh good job you must know your stuff’ and im sitting there smiling and nodding just picturing the disappointment in his face when he realizes i guessed like all the answers.
